Very smart antique open mahogany bookcase of fine quality, with some lovely features & of small proportions. It’s bow fronted with a reeded top over a flame mahogany panel with various inlays. The mahogany shelves are all adjustable & slot into grooves on the sides. The front of the shelves & sides are either satinwood or tulip wood. It a very elegant bookcase & sits on splayed legs. This bookcase dates from around the 1910-20’s period & is in excellent condition. Please enlarge all the images to appreciate all the fine details.

Antique Mahogany Leather Top Pedestal Desk
This is a large antique mahogany pedestal desk of high quality & in very good condition. It has graduated drawers to the front, panelled sides & a polished panelled back. The drawers all have original brass handles & locks. The right hand bottom drawer is a double filing drawer & has dividers inside. This desk has a hand coloured tooled leather writing surface with lovely antiqued colours. It has a gadrooned top edge, fluted sides & sits on carved claw & ball feet. The carvings are very good quality. Although quite large, this desk comes apart into three sections, so can be transported very easily. I would date it to around the 1890-1900 period.

Large Bronze V&A museum cabinet from Damian Hirst

We are proud to be able to offer these wonderful bronze cabinets originating from the Victoria and Albert museum.We were lucky to buy them via Damien Hurst.
The quality is ,as one would expect from the V and A “simply the best”. We have five 2 doors cabinets and five 4 door cabinets – this is the four door version.
They each have 3 adjustable glass shelves, all new glass and are finished with a mahogany trim, standing on a mahogany base.The bronze is a fabulous Deep colour. The back is not currently mirrored, but can be if required – see the two door version for this.

This 1910 cabinet can be used as a counter or as a cabinet on top of a counter. The frame is mahogany with original black lacquer – it has great patina. It has a mirrored back door, 2 adjustable shelves and a twister handle on the back. Has an original label from Radin & Co. in Shoreditch. This cabinet was purchased from a jeweller in Edinburgh.
