208-Extra Large English Turret Clockby Clock Props
208-Extra Large English Turret Clock
A remarkable example of a 19th Century English Turret Clock Dial. The type of clock you can still see on church towers and town halls. Made from copper in 2 sections riveted together, these dials were then painted and numbered, virtually all with Roman numerals. The original heavy iron movement has long since been scrapped. We have made replica hands (you can choose black or gold) mounted to a quartz movement at the centre of the dial for perfect timing. The movement slips into a box at the front, so that it can be easily removed without taking the clock off the wall every 2 years or so for a new AA battery.
One of the most eye catching clocks I have had, enhanced by the convex shape of the round dial and the glimmer of copper coming through the black paint work.
Size: 125 cm diameter, 14 cm deep
228-Sunburst Clockby Clock Props
A particularly fine example of an Art Deco Sunburst Clock with its original eight day mechanical movement.
The tentacles that form the sunburst are made of wood and are in excellent condition.
The clock has required very little restoration other than to the movement, which has now been overhauled.
Size: 54 cm x 8 cm

232-Small Art Deco Clock
This is a clock that is not a hundred percent original, as it was bought only as an empty case lacking its movement and dial.
We have found an appropriate 1930's old dial that complements the pattern of the case and fitted it with a glass and chrome bezel and a quartz movement.
It is a charming clock and will attract attention.

238-Art Deco Wall Clock
This is an English Art Deco Clock, which originally had a wind up movement, but has been converted to quartz for perfect time keeping retaining the original pointed hands in keeping with the numerals.
The wooden dial has been repainted as part of its restoration.
Size: 33 cm x 26 cm x 5 cm
250-Large Iron Dial (Turret Clock)by Clock Props
250-Large Iron Dial (Turret Clock)
An old turret dial that we have restored in a shabby chic manner and fitted a quartz mechanism to it to ensure perfect timing.
I think the colours are good for today's country decor and the size makes it a focus on any wall.
Size: 60 cm diameter x 6 deep

268-Large Wall Clock
A 1920's French turret clock that would have been outside on some public or industrial building.
Made of iron, the clock dial was purchased without it's original movement and hands so we have made light-weight hands in the antique style to work with a specially adapted quartz mechanism, so it keeps perfect time. An antique clock dial with modern time-keeping.
106 cm wide x 6 cm deep
271-Advertising Clockby Clock Props
A rare French advertising clock, probably from the 1930's.
I have not been able to find any references for this clock other than Vedette was a leading French clock brand.
The original movement is shown here in case someone familiar with electrics would wish to return it to it's original state as a 110 volt power system.
It therefore cannot function in the UK which is why we have converted it to quartz.
It had a system of florescent tubes which illuminated the red wording on the dial and no doubt LEDs could be inserted to highlight the lettering. Definitely a clock for a collector.
