An 18th century treen spice tower, or Sussex spice tower. It comprises of four turned sycamore stacking cylindrical boxes with engraved paper scroll labels inscribed Mace, Cloves, Cinnamon and Nutmeg. It is topped with a screw on lid. Excellent condition, no cracks and of very good colour.
