Antique Bentwood Hat & Coat StandSKU: by Marylebone Antiques
Very fine quality antique bentwood hat & coat stand, in excellent condition & free from warps or splits. It dates from around the 1910 period & has a lovely original colour with a good patina. This stand could be an original by Thonet & it’s certainly from that period. The upright is all fluted & the shaped legs are double strength. The top section revolves & lifts off. It has a beehive shaped finial on the top. There are plenty of cheaper options out there, but this is one of the better models.
