Antique Early Victorian Mahogany Hall StandSKU: by Marylebone Antiques
Antique Early Victorian Mahogany Hall Stand
This Large impressive hall stand has to be the nicest ones I’ve ever seen. It’s antique early Victorian, possible William IV, dating from the 1840-50’s period & is in excellent condition. This piece is also very functional & would be very practicable in a hall. There are plenty of pegs for hanging coats, hats, etc., plus a glove or key compartment & umbrella or stick holders. There is abundant carving all over on the top & the branches. The base section has barley twist ends & strong cabriole carved legs. Please enlarge all the images to appreciate all the fine details.
