Linda opened her shop in the London Silver Vaults ten years ago, bringing to it a new approach and her own flair in selecting distinctive and attractive stock. She began trading in antiques in her native Yorkshire twenty years ago, dealing for a short period in jewellery and antique luggage before finding her true love; silver. She has worked her way up through the trade, selling in antique fairs in the north of England and later in Portobello Road in London, and in that period has combed the country supplying silver to the London trade. She now takes great pride in using that experience to fill her shop with unusual and attractive silverwares. Enamelled silver has become her speciality. Visitors to the shop are invariably struck by the variety of charming and colourful silver: pieces for collectors certainly but also plenty for those seeking good quality gifts for christenings, weddings and anniversaries. Customers are guaranteed honest stock in good condition and a service that is both pleasant and reliable. Many have become friends and visit the shop on a regular basis. All who visit find in Linda's shop a warm welcome and a very friendly candour. Linda's stock changes on a daily basis and includes a range of flasks, mugs and other drinking vessels as well as presentation trophies and dishes, salvers and tablewares. There are also perfume bottles, mirrors, other dressing items, photograph frames and boxes of all sorts of shapes and sizes. If you are looking for tea and coffee sets, trays, candlesticks and bowls, then you will find a selection of these. Linda is happy to look for specific requests if you cannot find exactly what you require within the current stock.
