Description
This is a Rare chemist shop advertising shop sign which would have graced the outside of a pharmacy building probably above the main entrance to the store. The Royal Parade Pharmacy would have been in an arcade of shops and this is probably the reason for its survival having been under cover. The sign is original and in excellent condition. The glass is complete and undamaged the wooden mahogany pediment frame is also in excellent condition and has a wonderful patina.

The chain winds up and down using the handle on the side which is also detachable, It even has a locking mechanism so you can control the height of the shelf. It is structurally sound and the wheels and winding mechanism are in full working order.
It could be used in several different ways. Great for display and you could add marble or glass to the shelf and use it for a bust or maybe use it to display your works of art.
