Pair of Art Deco Burr Walnut Cloud Back Armchairs

A stunning pair of Art Deco burr walnut cloud back armchairs, made in England and dating from the 1930’s.

They are of superb quality and have an incredibly beautiful design. The cloud shape backs have a striking shape, and have absolutely gorgeous burr walnut patterns. The chairs sit on beautifully tapered legs with cross stretcher bases. The inside of the back rests are scalloped which gives them a beautiful and stylish appearance from the front.

We have had the frames stripped and re-polished to a very high standard, they have also been fully re-upholstered in a cream cotton fabric. The condition is excellent for their age, with just some extremely minor wear remaining beneath the polish here and there.
