    A superb Art Deco figured walnut pedestal desk, made in England and dating from the 1930’s.

    This is of amazing quality, it is beautifully constructed from solid and veneered walnut. It is very study and heavy for its size, there is beautiful joinery with fine, hand cut dovetailed joints on the drawers. Above each bank of drawers there is a tray slide shelf that pulls out with a brass handle, even the surface of the slide shelves have gorgeous walnut grain patterns. There is a black inset leather top, the back of this is nicely finished, so it can be used as a free standing item. The corners are beautifully moulded and each outer edge has fluted grooves running down the whole side.

    We have had this stripped and re-polished to a very high standard, the condition is superb for its age. The black leather top has been cleaned up and revived, there is just a little surface wear remaining beneath the polish.

    This comes in one piece, but the top can be unscrewed and detached if needed, so it can break down into three pieces.

    A magnificent Art Deco burr walnut cocktail drinks cabinet of the highest order. This was made in England, it dates from the 1930’s.

    It has an absolutely stunning design with an overhanging top, beautifully fitted interior and some of the most amazing burr walnut grain patterns you are likely to see.

    The top section is sycamore lined, with removable glass shelves, a mirrored base and mirrored pull out tray serving slide. The inside of the doors are complete with the original juicer and cocktail picks, there are also clips which are designed to hold cocktail glasses by the stems. The lower section also has a useful built in bottle rack.

    The burr walnut doors are beautifully offset by banded walnut top, middle and lower edges, this has lovely walnut handles as well.

    We have had this stripped and re-polished to a very high standard, the condition is absolutely immaculate throughout.

    An absolutely stunning Art Deco burr walnut cocktail cabinet by Epstein. This was made in England, it dates from the 1930’s.

    The quality is outstanding, this is beautifully designed in the typical Art Deco style. The top and bottom sections have fluted fronts with lovely moulded handles and stunning burr walnut grain patterns. The inside of the top is nicely fitted out in sycamore, with a mirrored back and two toughened glass shelves. There is a pull out mirrored serving slide the comes out from the middle, the lower cabinet is nicely fitted out with a bottle rack.

    We have had this stripped and re-polished to a very high standard, the condition is superb throughout for its age. The top lifts off the base and this comes in two pieces for ease of transport.

    A magnificent and very rare antique Victorian walnut desk by Howard & Sons. This desk is of the highest quality. It was made in England by Howard and Sons, it dates from the 1860-1880 period.

    This was likely a one off commissioned piece, it is extremely well made and has some lovely features. The base is solid walnut and is beautifully turned to give a bamboo effect. There are also bamboo shaped mouldings around the top edges, and a pierced brass gallery on the top edge. The top surface, middle surface and drawer fronts are burr walnut & have satinwood cross banded edges, this has a faded black leather inset writing surface. The back is also nicely finished, so this can be used as a free standing item.

    The Howard and Sons logo can be seen imprinted in the drawer edge. The condition is excellent for its age, we have just had it fully re-polished.

    A large and very impressive antique Victorian mahogany partners desk / writing table. This was made in England, it dates from around 1830-1850.

    It is of superb quality and is a great size, this is finished identically back and front, with three drawers on each side. The drawers have original turned mahogany handles with fine hand cut dovetailed joints. The solid mahogany legs are very thick and sturdy, sitting on original brass casters.

    The inset leather top has a gorgeous patina with beautifully tooled edges, this has plenty of work space.

    We have had this recently re-polished, the condition is excellent for its age. The overall patina is quite heavy and full of character, there are various small marks and indentations remaining here and there beneath the polish, commensurate for age.

    A stunning Art Deco birds eye maple occasional table, made in England and dating from the 1930’s.

    This is of superb quality and has a useful and clever design. The circular base has a door that swings open to reveal a cabinet space, and two beautifully made hinged drawers that swing outwards as well. The back has open shelving space, this has a lovely raised circular top that stands on a column. This is predominantly birds eye maple, it stands on a recessed wood base which contrasts beautifully with the lighter wood.

    We have had this stripped and re-polished to a very high standard, the condition is excellent throughout.

    This is of outstanding quality and has a gorgeous design. It stands on beautifully scrolled legs, the door fronts are burr walnut and mahogany, the top and sides are burr walnut. The interior is wonderfully fitted out, the doors are deep and contain lots of shelving for glasses. The inside back and sides are mirrored, there are two glass shelves and a pull out white formica slide shelf with a further recess for storage beneath. Additionally there is a small central drawer below the cabinet section.

    We have had this stripped and re-polished to a very high standard, the condition is superb throughout.

    An outstanding Art Deco burr walnut and sycamore bookcase / cabinet by Epstein. This was made in England, it dates from the 1930’s.

    The quality is superb, this is extremely well made and it is very heavy. The front is beautifully fluted in the centre with glass door cabinets on either side, it stands on a fantastic stepped plinth base. The burr walnut grain patterns and colour tones are stunning, they are complimented beautifully by the mellow sycamore tones. The glass doors have some lovely etched patterns towards the top, they have locking keys and inside there are two large toughened glass shelves.

    We have had this stripped and re-polished to a very high standard, the condition is excellent throughout.

    A magnificent Art Deco burr walnut sideboard by Hille. This was made in England, it dates from the 1920’s.

    The quality is outstanding, this is incredibly well made and is a substantial size. There are stunning burr walnut grain patterns, it stands on wonderfully scrolled legs and look great from all angles. The central handles are beautifully carved from solid gilt wood, and the keys that lock the side doors are also beautifully made with the same motif. There is also crisp and beautiful carving running down the outer edges. This would work very well in traditional or modern settings.
