Large Antique Burr Walnut Dining Table
by Marylebone AntiquesLarge Antique Burr Walnut Dining Table
This top quality walnut long dining table is capable of seating 8 to 10 people & it’s in great condition dating from around the 1920’s period. The top is a very dense burr walnut surrounded by a figured walnut cross banded & carved top edge. The side edge is also burr walnut with more cross banding. There are four solid walnut turned legs with more carvings on the tops & on the feet. There’s also a beautifully shaped cross stretcher running between all the legs & that is also supported by two more feet in the middle. This table has been very well constructed & deserves a nice set of chairs.

Antique Victorian Walnut Occasional Table

Very unusual antique multi-functional occasional table in walnut with a rotating section below the round top. It dates to around the 1840’s period & is in excellent original condition. It has a platform base with casters underneath. The is a gilt trim on the edges of each section which has mellowed nicely with age, as has the rest of this table. The most unusual part of this item is the adjustable candle holder, which rotates right around & also can be adjusted in height.

by Marylebone AntiquesAntique Victorian Wrought Iron & Oak Reading Table
This is the Rolls Royce of antique reading tables & it’s in excellent original condition. It’s also rare to find one with two adjustable tables. Take a good look at all the images, especially the ones of the underneath mechanisms. The frame is wrought iron & you can see the makers patent marks in the images. The two separate solid oak table tops are both adjustable & tilt with ledges to stop items falling off. The shaped base has a generous spread & sits on the original casters. I would say it’s Victorian, but some expert could probably date it exactly by the letters & numbers on the rough iron.

by Marylebone AntiquesAntique Mahogany & Leather Drum Table
This antique mahogany revolving drum table has a lovely design with imitation book ends. It has a tooled leather top, reeded edges & compartments between the book decoration. The compartments are squared off inside so are designed to take more books if needed. The drum section spins around on quadruple reeded legs with antiqued brass capped casters. This table is in excellent original condition & has plenty of character. The book ends are different colours & you can clearly see the book titles if you enlarge all the images. I would date this piece to around the 1920’s period.
