Rosewood & Leather Dining Table & Chairs by AJ Milne for Heals
by InteriorBoutiquesA magnificent and rarely available dining suite in rosewood and black leather upholstery. This was designed by Andrew Milne for Heals, it was made in England and dates from the early 1950’s.
This is the pinnacle of British mid twentieth century furniture design. This model rarely comes up on the market, let alone with this number of chairs and in this condition.
The condition is superb for its age, we have just had the dining table stripped and re-polished to a very high standard. It has amazing grain patterns and a beautiful colour tone. There is an extra leaf that comes with this to extend the dining area significantly.
The chairs have also been recently polished and re-upholstered not too long ago in beautiful full grain black leather. They are clean, sturdy and sound, also with a gorgeous colour and stunning grain patterns. There are a couple of historical repairs to the chair frames.
This is part of a full dining suite that we acquired, we also have the matching sideboard and server table available separately.

FRENCH MAISON JANSEN PALM TREE LAMP
by InteriorBoutiquesA stunning, Hollywood Regency, 1970s French Maison Jansen brass table or floor lamp designed to resemble a Palm Tree. This glamorous and eye-catching lamp is an original and a classic Maison Jansen design featuring three branches sculpted beautifully in brass to resemble those of a Palm Tree. A single E14 screw in bulb is fitted to the end of each branch illuminating the lovely aged brass patina of the many leaves cascading below.
The Palm Tree sits in a heavily-weighted, black, glossy-laminate base. The flex feeds through a small hole in the base illuminating the lamp. Given its vintage there is some age related wear to the leaves but none are missing or have been broken off. In places there are some kinks in the metal fronds probably caused when the lamp was being moved or cleaned. There are no chips or scratches to the black laminated base. The on/off switch is on the very long black flex but close to the lamp to be able to switch it on easily. A stunning lamp that certainly adds that certain something to your living space.Dimensions: H: 100cm W: 60cm D: 60cm
Dimensions: Base: H: 18 cm W: 22 cm D: 22cm
Leaves: L: 32cm W: 2 cm
