Large Antique Walnut Leather Top Pedestal Desk

This desk is finished & polished on the back, so it’s free standing. The pedestals are panelled on the back & sides & they sit on bracket feet. The drawer fronts are burr walnut & the drawers are graduated in depth, with original brass handles, locks & fine dovetails. This great looking desk is top quality & because of it’s size it has a very generous kneehole space. I would date it to around the 1930-50’s period & it has just been French polished. It also comes apart into three sections for easy transportation.

Antique Regency Style Burr Elm Writing Table

It’s very good quality, full of character & dates to around the 1920-30’s period. This table could be used for a desk, sofa table, or just a useful side table. It’s two sided & has dummy drawers on the back. The top is cross banded & there is a cross stretcher joining the two sets of legs. They in turn have turned roundels on the outsides & brass cupped casters.

Leather and Canvas Swiss Army Convertible Kit bag
by Vintage & Modern PensHere we have an amazing , weighty leather and canvas convertible kit bag, designed with flair, practicality , a real aesthetic and used for a multitude of military purposes
A number of these has been sold and have been put to good use for logs, laundry, storage and of course, carrying things, either as a tote, on the shoulder or as a crossbody bag.
It was produced in Switzerland in the late 1960's to the early 1970's.The bag has a square aluminium plate at the bottom for rigidity and measures 99×45 cms when full opened.
To convert from a kit bag to a tote, unbuckle the long strap, and would the back from the top just above the handles.

Enormous Antique Gilt Wood Mirror with Oil Painting
by Marylebone AntiquesVery high & very decorative antique gilt wood mirror with some wonderful features including a magnificent signed painting. It’s very hard to show a good image of this mirror & to convey the very large proportions. It looks far better in real life. Please enlarge all the images to appreciate the features. It has outside panelled mirrors & the main one in the middle. In between, are plain painted panels. There’s a magnificent painting on the top of winged cherubs which is signed (see image) & there are floral swags across the top of the mirror. This mirror is very high at just under 9 feet & won’t fit under our shop ceiling, however, it can be viewed in our warehouse. It’s in good original condition & I would date it to around the 1860-80’s period.

Antique Venetian Gilt Wood Coloured Glass Mirror

I’m not sure of the exact age but it looks to me from the late 19th century or possible early 20th century. It’s quite large & can be hung either way, which is useful. This mirror has a bit of natural distressing on the blue mirror parts & on the gilt frame, which I think adds to the character. I think this mirror could be Venetian.

Pair of Antique Mahogany Console Side Tables

They are exception quality & a lovely design, with some very fine details. I have never come across a pair of consoles as nice as these. Please enlarge all the images to appreciate the great features. Take a look at the front turned & grooved legs which end in well defined claw feet & the back panelled supports are nice too.
These tables look much better in real life. The images don’t do them justice.

Antique Bentwood Hat & Coat Stand
by Marylebone AntiquesVery fine quality antique bentwood hat & coat stand, in excellent condition & free from warps or splits. It dates from around the 1910 period & has a lovely original colour with a good patina. This stand could be an original by Thonet & it’s certainly from that period. The upright is all fluted & the shaped legs are double strength. The top section revolves & lifts off. It has a beehive shaped finial on the top. There are plenty of cheaper options out there, but this is one of the better models.
