Height – 53cmThe artist takes inspiration from found objects, such as old letters, ephemera and frames, picked up on his travels and from trawling antiques fairs. He is intensely instinctive by nature and shows scant regard for creative constraints and any artistic rulebook, preferring the peripheries of the art world and the traditional marketplace, he started off selling his work on the street and has worked his way up from there. The son of the late actor, Kenneth Griffith, his aesthetic has one foot in the historical past, and the other in Outsider Art.
Artistry runs in the blood on both sides of his family. Down the maternal line, Griffith is a direct descendent of the showman William Hagar, a Pioneer of British cinema who ‘followed the coal’, bringing handmade films to audiences who had never before seen a moving image. As a nod to his silver screen heritage, Griffith sources vintage film posters for their early colors and Primitive images.

It is of outstanding quality and is beautifully designed. It is tall and slim, with plenty of storage space inside, this would be useful in the bedroom, lounge or even as a hallway cupboard. This stands on beautifully tapered legs with brass feet caps, and the decorative brass mounts on the front give this a unique and incredibly beautiful look.
The condition is superb for its age, with only some extremely minor wear here and there.

The quality is superb, this is beautifully designed and has lovely proportions.
It is upholstered in a vintage floral fabric which is very striking and of superb quality. It is clean and in good condition with only some minor wear.
The legs have been stripped and re-polished to perfection, the removable seat cushion is sprung inside.Width – 71 cm , 28 inches

by InteriorBoutiquesAn absolutely stunning vintage Art Deco sycamore dressing table and chair by Hille. This was made in England, it dates from the 1920’s.
This is of superb quality and has an incredibly elegant design. The table stands on beautifully scrolled legs, it has two drawers on either side and in the centre section there is a lift up mirror with storage space within. There is a removable tray inside and this has a built in lamp that would need to be re-wired.
The chair was made to match, it is also beautifully crafted from sycamore.
The condition is excellent for its age, we have had the table and chair stripped and re-polished to a very high standard, the chair has been re-upholstered in a cream cotton fabric.

The quality is exceptional, with finely detailed carving throughout. The wood has a gorgeous colour tone and the chairs are beautifully caned on the side and back panels.
We have had the frames revived and re-polished, they have been fully re-upholstered in a cream cotton fabric, with down filled back cushions. The condition is excellent for their age.

They are of outstanding quality with generous proportions, they are also extremely comfortable. The solid mahogany frames are beautifully crafted with lovely carving on the scrolled arms and front legs. They sit on porcelain casters and have a gorgeous overall patina.
We have had them fully re-upholstered in a hand coloured russet leather to give this gorgeous colour tone, the mahogany has also been polished to a very high standard. The condition is superb throughout.

They are of superb quality and have an incredibly beautiful design. The cloud shape backs have a striking shape, and have absolutely gorgeous burr walnut patterns. The chairs sit on beautifully tapered legs with cross stretcher bases. The inside of the back rests are scalloped which gives them a beautiful and stylish appearance from the front.
We have had the frames stripped and re-polished to a very high standard, they have also been fully re-upholstered in a cream cotton fabric. The condition is excellent for their age, with just some extremely minor wear remaining beneath the polish here and there.
